Who We Are
We believe the Bible is God's Word and essential to all we do. As a church rooted in historic Christian faith, our beliefs shape our vision, mission, and everything we practice.
Our Vision:.To make Jesus Christ non-ignorable in Monument and to the ends of the earth.
Our Mission:. To glorify God by making joyful, passionate disciples of Jesus Christ.
Key Doctrinal Emphases: Here are five important aspects of what we believe.
The Centrality of the Gospel: The good news of Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection for our forgiveness and new life is at the heart of everything we do. It's how we are saved and how we grow in our faith.
God's Grace in Salvation: We believe God graciously chooses and saves people through faith in Jesus. This doesn't lessen our responsibility to share the Gospel, but highlights God's powerful love.
The Power of the Holy Spirit: We rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance, strength, and the ability to serve. He empowers us for ministry and helps us live according to God's Word.
Men and Women in the Church: We believe men and women are equally valuable and gifted for ministry. While both share responsibility in the home, God has given men the primary role of servant-leadership in the family and the role of Elder/Pastor in the church is for men.
The Church on Mission: We believe the local church is God's primary way of building His kingdom. We are called to share the Gospel in our community and around the world, planting and supporting churches and engaging our culture with the truth of Christ.
Our Doctrinal Foundation: We align with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
